Registrar Lock in Website Hosting
Locking and unlocking a domain registered through our company is incredibly easy. This can be accomplished through the Hepsia Control Panel, which comes with our Linux website hosting, and will require literally two mouse clicks. All your domain names will be displayed alphabetically in the Domain Manager section of the Control Panel and next to those whose extensions support the registrar lock option, you will see a padlock-like logo. Click on it once and you’ll see the domain name’s present status. Click for the second time and you’ll change its status. The update will propagate instantaneously without the need for you or for our company to do anything else for the status to be ‘refreshed’ on WHOIS lookup websites, so you can continue with the transfer straight away.
Registrar Lock in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you would like to transfer a domain name from our company to another registrar and you’ve got a semi-dedicated server account, you’ll be able to get the domain name ready with just a couple of mouse clicks. All your domains will be listed in a separate section of the Hepsia Control Panel – the very same tool via which you’ll administer your web hosting account. If a particular gTLD or ccTLD supports the registrar lock option, you’ll notice a padlock-like icon. You can see whether the domain is locked or not by clicking on that icon once and you can alter the status by clicking once again. This is all it takes and there will be nothing else that you or we will need to do, so you can proceed with the domain transfer procedure right away. The update will propagate immediately, so you won’t have to wait for the status to be updated on WHOIS lookup websites.
